A hot meal and a friendly face

Since 1971, Meals on Wheels Santa Barbara has helped homebound community members by delivering freshly prepared meals seven days a week, 365 days a year. Our clients, who aren’t able to shop or prepare meals for themselves, benefit from the nutritious food, personal contact and greater sense of independence they gain.

​Our meals are prepared daily in the kitchens of Valle Verde Retirement Community, our partner for more than 30 years. Volunteers pick up meals each morning and deliver them throughout Santa Barbara between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., connecting with their clients along the way.
